A Little About Me...

I'm just a 31 year old chick from Rhode Island, married to a Canadian, tattooed, childfree, and a World of Warcraft addict. I fancy myself a photographer, or an artist, but who am I kidding - I count pills and sell drugs to junkies.

Disclaimer

I write about everything. If you don't like it, if it's too personal, if you don't want to hear it, if it offends you, if it's about you, I don't care.

I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle, but if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

Importing

After much finagling I finally managed to get the music off of the iPod last night, song by individual song. So today I’m spending the day working on importing the CDs that we’d previously imported a couple of months ago while Eddie is at work. It gives me something to do and keeps me out of my own head, which is a decidedly bad thing lately. So I’m starting with one CD book and then going on to the less-listened to disks.

We had fun yesterday, going to Providence Place and hanging out there for a few hours. We each got a pair of new Airwalk sneakers (although I had my heart set on some bright pink Docs), then came home to use the bathrooms and see if there were any good thrift stores around our house. We hit 2 Salvation Army stores and a smaller consignment shop before we headed to the grocery store to grab some food. I decided that I wanted to cook, so I picked up some swordfish steaks and some stuff for side dishes, then we came home and played with the computers a little bit. We ended the night by watching the last few episodes of Firefly and part of SNL before falling asleep.

New shoes!

vanity/DSC03494I painted my nails this morning - fingers and toes. I figured I needed to have party toes to go with the wickedly cute shoes Eddie bought me yesterday.

We’d been walking through the shoe department in our own size areas, and once he’d found some he came back and asked if I’d found anything yet. I told him that I hadn’t and he asked what size we were looking for and what style I wanted. “Nothing with a heel on it,” I told him. We ended up on another display area and there were these positively adorable shoes, with a heel, and I had to have them. So Eddie bought them for me, like a good husband to a shoe fanatic should do.

I’ve got a few things to do today, but I’ll do them in the afternoon. I want to see how one of my auctions turns out, in case the buyer turns out to be one of those super-prompt people who sends payment as soon as the auction is over. Plus, I wanna see how many bids I get on stuff. Whoever gets it is going to end up with a spectacular deal unless there’s a bidding frenzy at the last half hour (there’s 3 hours left). I’ve got to bring one auction to the post office, and get my blood drawn, and pick up Eddie from work.
