It’s the middle of the month, and we actually have some money. I’m going to toss an extra $50 towards both utilities and then put the extra in the savings account so we can start building up some cash for the deposit on the next place. I don’t want to live here any longer than we need to, but shit is just so expensive right now that we can’t afford to move out because even if we did have enough for the security deposit, the rents are higher than we can easily afford.

I took a break from playing FFXI at the beginning of the month, not really feeling the urge to log in even on the nights when I said that I was going to. I tried to log in earlier this week, but they were doing some maintanance and couldn’t get on so I held off and tried this morning, only to discover that my computer supposedly isn’t up to par and I can’t get in. Mind you, nothing has changed on my computer at all, so I’ve got no idea why it’s doing this. Oddly enough, I’m not all that upset about it. I have some good friends on FFXI, but I miss being able to play with Eddie and a lot of the people who made MMO gaming fun to me. Whether or not I pack up FFXI and switch to WoW (where everyone else is right now) is still up in the air; unless I decide to uninstall Poser and the 4gig of figures and textures I’ve got for that sort of thing, the two games can’t coexist on my computer. FFXI is currently sucking up about 16gig of space on the computer, leaving barely enough room for anything else.

Time to shower and get dressed. 8 hour of work and I’ll be back home, where I can continue to debate over video games.

While I’ve been awake I’ve worked on new art, and stuffed a monkey. I still need to sew his arms and tail on, but the body is done.

Oh well, I’m going to indulge in my favoritest snack ever, nearly stale bread dipped in salad dressing.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. Hot, but not too bad. I left here at about 12:30pm because I just couldn’t go without food any longer and decided to get my bloodwork done and grab some lunch. I went to Eddie’s Walmart and chatted with him then we paid the gas bill. I called the gas company and once again had the least helpful rep ever, who got snarky with me when I told him to add a note to have the driver get there as late as possible.

After that we went to Cingular and set my phone up. I’m quite happy to have my own line now and not need to borrow Eddie’s phone for the day whenever I need to make a call.

art-digital/wonderlandI did some new artwork last night. One came out good, the other doesn’t have any postwork on it and isn’t uploaded anywhere yet. I can’t decide if I’ll do some monkeys today, play FFXI, or do some more art. Decisions, decisions.

Looking at the weather right now, the next 5 days are supposed to be nasty and humid. Last night we got into bed and the sheets were nasty and clammy feeling. Ugh. Tonight before bed we’ll change the sheets. I’m pondering putting the sheets into the fridge right before Eddie gets home so that the bed is nice and cool when we go in there.

Eddie came home, got a burst of energy, and we cleaned up the kitchen a bit. We picked through a few totes and saved some stuff and tossed a lot more. Come thursday they were will two computer monitors and a cpu (sans hard drives) out on the sidewalk free for the taking.

I’m not sure what we’re going to have for dinner tonight. Depends on what we’ve got in the freezer. Perhaps some more sausage? We don’t have any cheese to make cheeseburgers with.

art-digital/smirkAh, the weekend has arrived. I’ve nearly finished my rainbow monkey (pictures later this afternoon), I’ve taken my pillls for the day, and have Poser-ed a bit. See the picture? Yeah, I did that.

I’ll clean my desk, find some lunch later, and see about finding more stuffing for some of the other monkey bits ‘ve got hanging around. Eddie should be getting home at about 4:30 with a network cable and damn it we’re gonna play FFXI tonight if I have to kill him.
