I did absolutely nothing of interest today. I chatted with a couple of people online, and surfed the web a bit. I made myself a couple of cheeseburgers, drank a liter of water, and sat down to play some FFXI. Shortly after I managed to get a group in the game, Eddie came home and we had some Humpday fun on our own before logging back into our games.
Eddie made chicken tacos for dinner tonight. They were hella yummy. Around the same time I grabbed another liter of water and have been working on that since then.
It’s back to work tomorrow. With any luck it will be a normal, sane day, with a minimal amount of crazies. Two more days and the weekend comes, and we can go out.
The government is still fucking with the weather. Yesterday on the way to class it was 20F. The day before that it was about 14F.
Today it was 50F.
Tomorrow I have an exam. It’s also one of my teachers’ last day: B got an offer he couldn’t refuse. And while this means that I get out early (we get to leave when our exam is over), it also means that there’s no one with any idea what’s going to happen on Monday when we return to class. So far the idea is that we combine the 3 classes into one and take the one class none of us has had in the course: billing. That will give the admins 9 class days to find 2 teachers, since there’s no way that we can continue on with 1 teacher for 3 classes, even if there’s only 15 students. We’re all at different stages in the course.
We’re attempting to have our chicken and stuffing for dinner tonight. We cooked it a couple of nights ago, but the chicken wasn’t completely thawed before we put everything in the oven, and as a result we ended up with a pan full of chicken-water with a layer of cream of mushroom soup on top, and a crispy layer of stuffing on top of everything. Completely inedible. We had bacon and eggs instead.
I guess I should go to work or something, eh?
I so don’t want to go in. My stomach has felt like it has a brick sitting in it since last night, but since I called out one day a week or so ago, I can’t very well call out again. Maybe I can get away with sitting in there and reading all day. Oh well. At least this is my own workweek humpday.
