I’m awake again. It’s still hot, but now it’s overcast and it should be raining any time now. I felt like I tore a couple of toes off this morning when I tripped over the rice box on the way back to bed. I was to tired to even check until I got up this morning. Toes are all present and accounted for, thankfully.
Oh! Big announcement! *drumroll*
My nose isn’t stuffy today!

I’ve got to sew up the bride monkey today. I’m seriously considering chopping about 8″ off her legs, because they’re just insanely long and I don’t think that they look very good, but I don’t know how well I can camoflage the raw edges. I could make some little monkey “shoes”, which could cover things up a bit. I’ve also got a small blue monkey that I want to get finished as well.
Ugh. And I need to clean Pickle’s cage out today. I had a dream that she went crazy in her cage and flung shit all over the living room floor. I’m going to see if maybe we can get her to use the box if I put it in there. We’ll see.
art-digital/blondieIt’s raining, I’ve been up since 7:30am, and I’m hungry.
Yeah, this might be a good day.
While I’ve been awake I’ve worked on new art, and stuffed a monkey. I still need to sew his arms and tail on, but the body is done.
Oh well, I’m going to indulge in my favoritest snack ever, nearly stale bread dipped in salad dressing.
art-digital/latex_bluWhile Eddie was working yesterday, I worked on some new art, and ended up with something that I think turned out fairly decently. Then we took a nap, and after about an hour and a half I got up and came and reworked the art a bit while Eddie slept for another 2 hours.
We went to a graduation party last night. Pretty fun, excellent food.
Today we’re going to the flea market because mom claims that she hasn’t bought anything from it all year. That’s a filthy lie and she knows it, because the first time that I went this year she left with 2 bags filled with penguins. Then I guess we’re going to have some sort of cookout deal and my sister’s going to be there. So far it doesn’t feel like much of a pool-worthy day.
Eddie came home, got a burst of energy, and we cleaned up the kitchen a bit. We picked through a few totes and saved some stuff and tossed a lot more. Come thursday they were will two computer monitors and a cpu (sans hard drives) out on the sidewalk free for the taking.
art-digital/teamspiritI’d been working with this idea in my head for a couple of days now, and after finally getting things set up the way I wanted them to be and doing some test renders, I eventually came up with this picture. Appologies go out to the faculty and students of the Lookout Valley High School in Chatanooga for stealing their football field for my own perverted use of it.
I’m not sure what we’re going to have for dinner tonight. Depends on what we’ve got in the freezer. Perhaps some more sausage? We don’t have any cheese to make cheeseburgers with.
art-digital/gagged_2I’d finally finished the image I’d been working on right before bed. I love the way her hair turned out; I’m slowly getting better at doing it. Eddie doesn’t like her because of the ballgag.
We’re going to the flea market today. I’m really hoping that I’m not peeing constantly because I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that the bathrooms there are nasty. Eddie wants to pick up some razorblades and I love to look at the old paperwork people sell: diplomas, deeds to houses, baptismal certificates, that sort of thing. The best find we never bought was a 1911 archive of the Providence Journal. The guy wanted $40 for it, which we didn’t have, but it would have been the coolest thing to own.
After the flea market we go back to Mom’s, where she will perform that kitchen-witchery known only to us as “hot wings”. We’ll gorge ourselves (but I won’t eat the mutant wings), and I’ll end up making a total mess out of myself with wing sauce and chunky feta dressing. It won’t be pretty, and most likely cause Eddie to wonder if I’m the same person he married 3 years ago.
If we want to, we’ll get to have dinner and a movie, and sometimes the movie is good! And if the movie is good, that means that Brian’s fallen asleep; he always does when the movie is a decent one.
