Eddie cleaned the kitchen the other day and I can’t find my sinus pills anymore. I’m going insane.

I’m awake again. It’s still hot, but now it’s overcast and it should be raining any time now. I felt like I tore a couple of toes off this morning when I tripped over the rice box on the way back to bed. I was to tired to even check until I got up this morning. Toes are all present and accounted for, thankfully.

Oh! Big announcement! *drumroll*

My nose isn’t stuffy today!

[golden light breaks through the clouds, tiny cherubs fly past strumming little harps, and angels sing their praises of Advil Severe Allergy caplets]

I’ve got to sew up the bride monkey today. I’m seriously considering chopping about 8″ off her legs, because they’re just insanely long and I don’t think that they look very good, but I don’t know how well I can camoflage the raw edges. I could make some little monkey “shoes”, which could cover things up a bit. I’ve also got a small blue monkey that I want to get finished as well.

Ugh. And I need to clean Pickle’s cage out today. I had a dream that she went crazy in her cage and flung shit all over the living room floor. I’m going to see if maybe we can get her to use the box if I put it in there. We’ll see.

I spent the night waking up at least once an hour to blow my nose. It sucked. Today I got up at about 7:30am and took a sinus pill, which has done absolutely nothing to help. So I took another dose of another kind an hour ago when I made breakfast. Hurray for self-medicating. I know that the issue is the whacky weather we’ve been having lately (comfy and upper 60’s and no humidity for 3 weeks, then a rapid switch to the low 90’s with humidity today and yesterday), but that doesn’t make it any less annoying.

Eddie scrubbed Pickle’s pool out yesterday, and at this very moment she’s sitting in it, getting a drink. He was smart and picked up the box of rice last night, so we didn’t end up with a wet-rice-coated ferret. Eddie said that if that happened she was going right into the shower, but not before he broke out the soy sauce first. I’m working on getting her to wear her harness without freaking out, but unfortunately she’s still a bit on the smaller side and the excess length of the harness straps drags around and she thinks they’re the perfect toy to wrestle with until she can get the harness off. I’d cut them, but at only 3.5 months old, I think she’s got a bit more growing to do. She’s growing like a weed, and you can totally feel the difference in weight compared to when we first brought her home. Also, she can no longer squeeze her ass into the cardboard box that I cut a hole in, and has issues hauling her butt into the pool without help. Thankfully, she’s also too big to fit in the heaters, so I haven’t had to worry about that at all this past week.

Eddie should be picking up some monkey stuffing for me today so that I can finish the bride and the blue softy I started yesterday afternoon. I’ve also got a bunch of monkey-themed microfiber socks that will be used up sometime this week, I hope. Another thing that Eddie should (hopefully) be picking up is a plastic organizer so that I can actually get stuff out of plastic bags. It’s scattered among a giant Old Navy bag and several plastic Walmart bags.

I added cam 3 to the cams again while I was tweaking some other stuff on the backend of things today. As always, give me a shout if things aren’t working properly.

I’m waiting for the latest patch to finish downloading for WoW. They’ve implemented pvp/rp servers, which is cool because I love the atmosphere on the roleplaying servers and I think that adding the player vs. player aspect to that will just kick ass. I’m also pondering setting up a seperate little blog just for my gaming stuff (since I’m aware that not everyone is as enthusiastic about WoW as I am), but I’m not sure if that will push me over the line from plain old geek to “omgyouhavenolife”.

Now that the fuzzbutt is sleeping, I think I’ll get some cleaning done in the living room and shower before lunch (leftover tacos). I’ve also got to log into FFXI and suspend both Eddie’s and my accounts on there so that we’re not paying $30/month for a game we’re no longer playing. I haven’t decided exactly what I’ll be doing with ifritplayers.info once the domain expires. If there’s a board regular who wants to host and take over I’ll dump the database for them and help set shit back up, but I think it will probably just die. It’s on its last legs anyway.
