Crafts, video games, and boredom.
Eddie’s vacation is winding down. I’ll miss having him home all day with me. However, he’ll be going back to work on Monday and I’ve only got a few more weeks before school starts, which means I’ll only be alone for half the day. Alone with Pickle, that is.
This afternoon Pickle discovered that she could go back into her cage and sleep if she was bored with playing in the living room. Neither of us put her back, and she just crawled back in and went to sleep. Yay!
We spent the afternoon playing WoW. I hit level 25 on my druid, and we got most of several quests finished. we’ll finish them up tomorrow I guess. Part of the day I spent making a purse. It’s reversable, emerald-green velvet on one side and a blue oriental dragon print for the other, with a black satin cord and tassel. All told it’s about 8″x14″. Anyone want it? $10. Let me know. I did take some more detailed pictures of it. I’ll probably do some others with different fabric when I’m done with the bride-monkey
Oh, and I did beat Eddie on the go-carts yesterday. We did 2 races, and we each won one race. We also did bumper cars with a family of 3. Eddie declared that we really need to go on the bumper cars more often, because it’s such a stress relief. I just enjoyed ramming my car into a stranger.

Since no one expressed an interest in buying the little blue one I made, I stuffed my camera, wallet, and inhaler in there and have been using it for the past couple of days. And this girl just came right up to me, told me how much she loved it, and asked where I bought it. I told her that I’d made it, and she was pretty impressed. [...]
