I started playing Final Fantasy XI (aka FFXI to most of its players) in the summer of 2004, and while I don’t play a Tarutaru, I find them cute. Id on’t play a white mage either, but that didn’t stop me from undertaking the challenge of trying to crochet one of my very own.
I started working on my taru whm in late January of 2006. He’s made with your standard worsted weight yarn acrylic and cotton yarn. I embelished his AF gear with gold trim, and he wears your standard backpack as well. The backpack is completely functional and includes several wind, light, and water crystals. And like any good Taru WHM, this little guy also brings a pair of elemental staves (wind and light).
Best of all? This little guy is for sale. Sold!

Bio: Shortstack is a level 60 WHM and has all of his AF gear except for his gloves. He’s lost them again. His friends in his linkshell like to joke that some day they will just sew them right to the sleeves of his tunic so he doesn’t misplace them.
