A Little About Me...

I'm just a 31 year old chick from Rhode Island, married to a Canadian, tattooed, childfree, and a World of Warcraft addict. I fancy myself a photographer, or an artist, but who am I kidding - I count pills and sell drugs to junkies.

Disclaimer

I write about everything. If you don't like it, if it's too personal, if you don't want to hear it, if it offends you, if it's about you, I don't care.

I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle, but if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

How I spend my day off.

We’re still on the hunt for a car. Eddie made a few phone calls yesterday, and I talked to my dad while I was at work. Unfortunately Dad has no leads on anything in our price range, and we’re trying to avoid going to a dealership because we don’t want to have loan payments and higher insurance payments because we’d need full coverage. We’re hoping to check out something Eddie found on Craigslist tonight after he gets home, and with any luck it’ll be a decent one.

Right now I’ve got 2 virus scanners running on my computer to try and get all the shit that seems to have exploded in my hard drive over the past week or so. I have no idea where all this shit came from, but seemingly overnight everything seemed to go pear-shaped and so I’m trying to rid my pc of all the baddies. So far, it’s a slow process. Once that’s done I’ll head into the bathroom with a bottle of blonde dye for phase one of my monthly application of bright red dye.

I had another class reunion dream the other night; this time the reunion was held in the parking lot at WalMart and everyone sat in lawn chairs. In this dream I hung out with a bunch of people that I actually hung out with in school, and we all were wearing casual clothes, which was much more comfy than the high heels in my other dream.

I stumpled upon this site this morning, and I swear that if we ever end up renewing our vows and having a 2nd wedding ceremony I will be buying a dress from them. They’re gorgeous. And made to my measurements to boot.

Hitched

The scene: Roger Williams Park (Temple to Music), Providence, RI. 2pm.

1 SUV, a dozen or so women doting on a bride, a couple of guys standing around until they were “shoo”-ed away.

1 bride in high hells, full length gown, veil, and blue sunglasses, more worried about falling down the hill than messing up her lines.

2 mothers and grandmothers, all crying.

1 uncle that shows up in a red Hawaiian shirt and carrying a Dunkin Donuts coffee, causing almost every other guy there to get all jealous because their wives made them wear suits.

1 dog humping a leopard print dog blanket.

The Cotrone-McBride Wedding. We put the fun in dysfunctional.

oh my toes!

I nevereverever wanna wear high-heels again.

I clean up nice

Well, we did the dress shopping today. Crazy. I damn near died when I saw the price on the veil. Hell, I wasn’t planning on getting a veil, and if I’d wanted one, I could have made it for $5, tops. I wasn’t even planning on having anything close to a real wedding gown, but the nice German lady squished me into a bustier and a peticoat and rhinestone headpeice and viola, I was a princess.

Last gasp

Well, this may be the last post from me as an unwed chica :)

See ya later folks!
