Just like last weekend, we’re off to Newport. Last week while we were on our brunch time booze cruise, my mother picked up a Vera Bradley bag, only to discover that it had a rip in it when she got home. So it’s back off to Newport today, where we’ll have a little more time to spend looking around. Which really means that my mother will have time to shop and I’ll have time to take pictures of things in window boxes again.
And if I keep posting this many pictures, I may end up with a photoblog.

Just so much fun to do…. One of the dresses that I made for my new neice, Maddie.

Windowboxes in Newport had these, and I’ve completely forgotten what they’re called.

For as long as I can remember until she died, my grandmother used this mug for her coffee, and pretty much anyone in the family would recognize it as hers. I use it for whatever drink needs to be kept hot, and even though it was among the things in the cabinets - stacks and stacks of dishes and an entire shelf full of coffee mugs - that Eddie and I inherited with the apartment, it will ALWAYS be Nanny’s mug.
