I went to Victor’s house last night to once again attempt to fix my computer after we all went to the bar. Played with fdisk a number of times before we were finally able to get the installation proces running properly. While we waited for things to install themselves, we played Thrill Kill on the Playstation. Eventually, we get everything installed and we’re all happy, Windows works (as much as Windows can work, that is), we toss it into my car, I show my piercings to Victor, give him my digital camera to borrow, we do the nasty on the hood of my 4-door Sonata (ok, so maybe that didn’t happen), and I head back to my house, not getting lost at all.I call Ed, plug in all the shit to my computer, and of course, nothing works the way it’s supposed to. I complain, and realize that when I put up my Christmas lights the other night, I unplugged the cable modem. My bad. I plug it back in, and viola - internet access! Of course, now I’m back to having access for only 30sec or so. So I get to call up Cox tonight and get them to bring their asses out to my house and fix their shit.
