A Little About Me...

I'm just a 31 year old chick, married, tattooed, pierced, childfree, and World of Warcraft addict. I fancy myself a photographer, or an artist, but who am I kidding - I count pills and sell drugs to junkies.

Disclaimer

I write about everything. If you don't like it, if it's too personal, if you don't want to hear it, if it offends you, if it's about you, I don't care.

I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle, but if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

I have stinky armpits.

I cleaned a bit today. Both the cat and ferret litter was changed, and I folded all the socks and hung up the clean clothes. Then I did the dishes. Because of this, Eddie promised to take me out on Saturday, and he’s currently searching for things we can do since our original plan of going to King Richard’s Faire would cost us an arm and a leg in entry and gas to get there.

The apartment is getting very homey-feeling. We’ve got real end tables now instead of our fabulously ghetto Rubbermaid totes and cardboard boxes. Eddie hung up some more pictures around the house, and I really wish that we had more wall space. We’re hosting Thanksgiving dinner here this year since Uncle Larry and Aunt Laurie are going to Ohio, so we’re trying to keep things nice in here so that we’ll have a minimal amount of crap to pick up next month. Not that we intend on going without cleaning for a month and a half, but you know what I mean.

I inherited a whole mess of Nanny’s crafts. I’ve got 3 canvas tote bags filled with assorted half finished projects that are who knows how old. There’s a 75% finished knitted vest that is too small for anyone in our family to ever fit into. There’s a couple of blank needlepoint canvasses, and a cross-stitch project that never went further than opening the package. There’s 1 finished cross-stitch project that just needs to be mounted properly, and about 6 packets of different sizes of needles. During the cleaning we also found about 3 sewing kits, the smallest of which I took. There was a photo album that Nanny had made filled with pictures that my grandfather took while he was stationed in the Phillipines during WWII, a framed crocheted hankerchief that my great-great-grandmother made, and several very old books. I also got a beautiful diamond solitaire in a white gold setting, and we don’t know who it belonged to.

Feeling: indifferent

On this day..
