A Little About Me...

I'm just a 31 year old chick from Rhode Island, married to a Canadian, tattooed, childfree, and a World of Warcraft addict. I fancy myself a photographer, or an artist, but who am I kidding - I count pills and sell drugs to junkies.

Disclaimer

I write about everything. If you don't like it, if it's too personal, if you don't want to hear it, if it offends you, if it's about you, I don't care.

I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle, but if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

Skipping school!

It’s snowing. It’s been snowing since I got up at 8:30, and I know it was snowing when I first woke up at 7:30am. Eddie went in for 5am to get an extra 2 hours of overtime. The flakes are a lot bigger now than they were an hour or so ago, but they say it’s going to switch to rain/snow later in the day.

Pickle has been going absolutely insane this morning. She’s been running all over the place with her toys, attacking me if I walk past her, and running through a couple of carboard tubes. Right now she’s in her crinkle sack, making an assload of noise. She really like jingle bells - Eddie found one on the floor at work and everytime I shake it she runs like a bat out of hell to one of the tubes and runs through it to get to me.

I didn’t go into work…the snow is crazy here.

I didn’t go into school, even though it more than likely wasn’t snowing that much at the time I’d have left here. However, even though Rhode Islanders get snow about 10 times a year, something in most of the state’s population seems to completely forget how to drive in it, and you’d think that we were some southern state that gets snow about once a decade by the way we slide all over the place and drive at about 10mph.

Snow and my road rage, combined with our slightly bald tires, isn’t a good combo.

[...] First we had some light snow. The flakes weren’t huge, but they weren’t flurries either, and there was probably about 2″ out there. Then it changed to much bigger flakes and came down a lot heavier for a while, giving us another 2″ or 3″ of it, but just as predicted it turned to rain, and so we got that for a little while after about 1pm.
