I’ll ship any adoptions within 48 hours via USPS Priority mail unless otherwise requested. These little guys make great gifts for that special someone in your life!
NOTE: Because I use small beads in the making of these, they are not suitable for small children or anyone else prone to chewing the eyeballs off. If you’d like to give this to a child, please let me know and I will embroider eyes on the animal for you.
Have you ever seen something quite so adorable?
In late 2005, Eddie sent me a link showing the most adorable crocheted rabbit, and I immediately thought to myself, I could do that. I looked at the page, made the rabbit in a day, and was completely hooked (no pun intended). From there I googled a word on the page - amigurumi. I’d never heard it before and was curious about its meaning. And a whole world of cuteness was revealed to me.
Since that time I’ve been making about 1 or 2 of these a week for family and classmates, but I’ve decided to offer them to others who might be interested in adopting a snuggly little amigurumi critter. All are hand-crocheted using worsted-weight, acrylic 4-ply yarn unless otherwise noted.
Accessories are available as well, and need to be added to your cart seperately if you want them. If you see an animal that you like but not in the color you’d like, check out the build-an-ami option at the bottom of the page.

Snicket the Kitten: sold!
Likes: Ice cream, cold milk, and fresh balls of yarn
Dislikes: Cotton balls and people who run with scissors
Let’s be frank. Snicket is a drama queen. She thrives on attention and firmly believes that she is, as they say, the cat’s meow. Adopting her would only make her even more vain, so I don’t suggest you hit that button unless you’re prepared to shower her with love.
She stands about 6″ tall and wears a purple flower on her head.
Little Boy Blue: sold!
Likes: Turtles, springtime, and baby chickens
Dislikes: The color blue, dustbunnies, and chocolate eggs
Blue, as he demands we call him, is a very emo bunny. He hates the color blue - ironic since it is the color of his fur. Still, some days he manages to get out of his nest-bed, even if it is just to download the latest Dashboard Confessional song.
Blue stands at about 5.5-6″ tall and comes bedecked with a jaunty blue and white striped ribbon.
Custom Adoptions
Looking for something that’s not currently up for adoption? Choose one of these options, play mad scientist, and create a critter!
Turn-around time is usually 1 week from the day you placed your order, and I will email you once it is shipped.
Please be very specific when entering color choices. Don’t just put “red” or “blue”, enter something like “blood red” or “crimson” or “deep blue.” If you’re a geek and want to get really helpful, visit the html colorlab and give me the color choices in HTML.
