Yesterday we went to a charity comedy night/raffle/buffet that all the stores in my district worked to put together. All the raffle prizes were donated, and I won a silver necklace, earrings, and a bracelet. I left the earrings in overnight and discovered that there just silver plate, and the plate is coming off in my ears. My mom won a pearl and diamond necklace and earring set, and Angela won the crocheted bear and cherry earrings that I’d donated. The comedians made fun of Mom and Jackie because they were laughing so loud.
We’re enjoying our day off together. We’re going to Mom’s house this afternoon because we’ve got a guild meetup tomorrow afternoon, which means that tomorrow I’ll be spending the afternoon making cupcakes for people to eat. We’re going to try to get a good movie to watch tonight, but who knows what they’ll actually have in stock to rent this weekend.
