Adventure time!
It appears as though the new ferret cage is no match for our adventurous little Pickle. We got home tonight and found the cage devoid of any ferret, so I checked the couch while Eddie went to see if she’d managed to get over the gate and into the kitchen. With no sign of her in the couch, Eddie checked the kitchen and the bathroom, and found her sound asleep in the one place she knows outside of the living room: inside a drawer of the desk in the bathroom.
We’ll be adding an additional cover to the front of the cage later tonight; it seems her adventures tired her out and she’s fast asleep once again, this time in a hammock.

Sounds like Pickle had a very busy day.

She did - she slept the whole night and the next morning, even sleeping though us modifying her cage door with and “extra” door to make the spaces between the bars smaller.
Unfortunately there’s a gap somewhere that we haven’t plugged up, because last night she managed to get out and crawled into bed with us.
