A Little About Me...

I'm just a 31 year old chick from Rhode Island, married to a Canadian, tattooed, childfree, and a World of Warcraft addict. I fancy myself a photographer, or an artist, but who am I kidding - I count pills and sell drugs to junkies.

Disclaimer

I write about everything. If you don't like it, if it's too personal, if you don't want to hear it, if it offends you, if it's about you, I don't care.

I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle, but if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

Schedule swapping on a chilly Monday morning.

Eddie’s on vacation, and drove down to Mom’s bright and early at 8am this morning, making sure that I was awake and moving before he took off. I chose to curl up in bed for an extra 30 minutes, then spend the next 25 decadent minutes in a nice hot shower. I’d just gotten myself wrapped in a towel when my cell started ringing, and the boss wanted to know whether or not I’d be willing to switch to the closing shift today because our regular calling-outer tech managed to call out early enough for me to make the switch (normally she calls up about an hour or so before she’s scheduled to come in, preventing any sort of schedule juggling). So instead of going in at 10am and battling 6pm rush hour traffic to Coventry in Nanny’s truck, I’m going in at 1pm and just going home after work. Much better, and much less gas being used up. Plus, I can sit around in my jammies for the whole day, come home, bleach my hair, and go to bed.

Right at this very moment I’m sitting around in my jammies, eating Frosted Flakes. Later on I’ll toss some clothes on and fix myself some lunch - I think there’s some leftover pizza in the fridge, and there’s a couple of bananas left from the weekend if the pizza’s gone bad.

Saturday, after we went shopponmg and fixed lunch and got dinner started, I was anticipating playing some WoW and dying my hair. In reality, however, we sat down for lunch and booted up the game and played for the next 10 hours or so. In all geekiness, it completely rocked. We started at level 34, almost 35, and logged in early enough before our planned dungeon crawl to hit 35 and upgrade some gear and get ready. For me, “getting ready” consists of dumping as much crap into the auction house, bank slots, and selling whatever junk I’ve managed to pick up in my travels so that I can carry whatever goodies I manage to score while in the instance. Since we got on early enough, we ended up with enough time and friends to run through it twice, then had enough time and energy left over to get ourselves to level 36 and hit the auction house again to put up more stuff for sale. I think that over the weekend I managed to make myself about 25g, and ended the weekend at a mazimum amount of 51g, which was promptly lowered to about 46g after I upgraded my spells.

If anyone’s ever on the Horde side of Eonar, look me up!
