Mondays Suck
The last few days are a blur. This is strange,s ince we really didn’t do anything.
Saturday we stayed home and played FFXI. I worked on my skirt, which turned out great but just needs to be modified slightly. Unfortunately, while trying to remove a pin I came very close to actually sewing my thumb to my skirt after impaling myself with the machine’s needle. Eddie and I had a couple of missions to finish up in the game, and so we gathered up a party of 6 and managed to kick the shit out of everything. We then got a tour of a newly accessable area, explored a bit, finished another short quest for maps of the new areas, and logged off for the night. I messed around with some screenshots, chatted a bit, and we headed into the bedroom just in time to see Antonio Banderas claim to be a woman named Guadalupe on SNL.
Yesterday we went to my mother’s, where we had chicken wings, watched a few hours worth of Mythbusters repeats, and watched the last hour or so of Nascar. We had dinner and chatted with Danielle and talked about going to see the Lipizzaner stallions in a couple of weeks. I was exhausted for some reason, so when we got home I surfed the web a bit, and then we watched Crossing Jordan. Last night one of the neighbors decided that 11pm was the best time to play their Spanish music, and so I fell asleep trying to ignore the terrible beat. Then I woke up at least twice because I was having nightmares that Eddie left me.
Today Eddie didn’t need to be in until 8am, so we slept in an extra hour. I didn’t need to be in until 10am, so I bought a book and sat in the car for a bit until it was time for me to go in. Today was better than it has been. While I was working up front on the register for half the day, once the other newbies came in I got to go in the back and actually fill some scripts for a couple of hours before taking over the drive through again because it got busy. My feet barely hurt during the day, although right now my entire lower body aches. We stopped on the way home and got hot weiners for dinner because Eddie was craving them.
