I’ve got a nice 3-day weekend starting today. Sweet. I’ve got 3 days to do nothing but finish my kitty and make as many freakin monkeys as possible.

Today may as well have been a day off for us. We spent the first half of the day discussing aseptic technique and learning how to wash our hands. Yep. You read that right - I’m spending $11,000 to learn how to wash my hands.

After that we watched Medicine Man, which meant that I had to suffer through nearly 2 hours of Lorraine Bracco’s agonizingly painful voice. However, it was balanced by the fact that Sean Connery was the lead actor, and we all know how I feel about him. *rawr*

Overheard on the way out of school yesterday:

Girl 1: I’d love to go out with the rest of the group this weekend, but I’ve got a date with my girlfriend. We were going to see that cowboy movie yesterday. What’s the name of it?
Girl 2: Brokeback Mounting, I think.
Girl 1: Yeah, that’s it. Brokeback Mounting. I don’t know what it’s about other than the cowboys. I saw the preview, but it didn’t have any words! It was just scenery!”

Dinner tonight? Ziti with chicken and alfredo sauce. And later tonight, Eddie and I will shower, and we’ll be all naked and sexy-like and I’ll take him to the bedroom and seduce him with promises of a backrub with Icy Hot, since the poor guy twisted himself up at work yesterday.
