Christmas List
Well, Eddie’s been asking for this for a while now, so here goes my attempt at making a Christmas list for him. Pay attention, because I’m only going to do this once.
- Any of the amigurumi books from yesasia.com, except the cheapest one, which I think is just a couple of patterns (but I can’t read Japanese, so I don’t know)
- Yarn. Or money to buy yarn to make this particular afghan to snuggle in and some animals.
- Remember all those discussions we seem to have about every 3 months when I get really pissed off and rant about the same exact thing all the time, and you promise you’ll make an effort to fix these things? I want to actually see that effort, because I haven’t yet.
- pretty much anything off the Amazon wishlist, except the camera because we can’t afford that.
- Toys.
In non-holiday news, I completely hate my typing class. I don’t know how anyone can stand to teach such a phenominally mind-numbing course. I spent nearly the entire 5 hours typing today, taking 5-10 snippets of break here and there because I needed something to keep my brain from turning into a pile of gray goo. In order to get an A+, you need to be able to type at least 30wpm and get no more than 3 errors. On our 3-minute timing we took yesterday as a midterm, I managed to get a 98% because even though I can type at 61wpm according to the program, I made 4 errors, and that extra error knocked 2 points off my grade. I have no idea what day the class started (last Tuesday? Wednesday?), so I don’t know which day next week that class ends. I think Friday is my last day and I’ve got a 3-day weekend coming up, but I’m not sure.
And now, I’m going to head to the shower because my hair is all fucked-up-looking when I don’t have my headband in.
