We didn’t get snow. we had maybe an inch if you measured in a spot where the flakes piled up. We woke up and the roads were clear and there was nothing to really clean on the car. So with heavy hearts, Eddie and I went to work and class.

I took my final exam for Ethics this morning. She gave us about 30 minutes to study when we got into class, and then told us we could leave when we finished. I ended up getting home just after 9am, which is nice. I can lounge around in jammies and snuggle on the couch to crochet. Tomorrow I start keyboarding, which should be interesting, to say the least. I can type without looking at the keys, it’s just that I don’t stick my hands on the homekeys like I’m supposed to. That was the same problem that I had in keyboarding when I was in high school.

I really need to get some pictures of the blanket I’m working on, because I really like how it’s turning out. I’m about half-done with it right now, so it’s really just a jumble of granny-squares in a roasting pan right now. At least today I’ve have the entire day to work on things, which isn’t bad - although I’m not looking forward to working on the last rows for the 24 small squares. I’ve also found the pattern that I’d like to do for my grandmother, if I can get this one finished in time. If I’m not finished, I think I could get away with making it half-sized, giving it to her like that, and then finishing it up after the holidays. I’ll pick the yarn up today - it doesn’t call for that much, just 3 colors, and 1 ball each. Once I’m done with the two I’m working on, I’d love to try out this one.

Pickle is sound asleep, which is good because it means that I don’t need to worry about getting up every 4 minutes to pry her off the inside of my desk (she climbs up the side), pull her off the curtains or out of the window and get her off the gate leading into Eddie’s room. She’s driving me insane; last night I was crocheting and I could do maybe 3 stitches before I’d have to get off the couch and stop her from getting into trouble.
