Weekend in review.
I was going to make a post about our fight last night, but I deleted it.
Yesterday we spent much of the afternoon running around with Eddie’s Mom, who wanted to go shopping. Our first stop was Petco for a ferret-ball and to check out the fuzzies. We cooed over the cute ones jumping around and fighting and Eddie wanted to get the sleeping one with the white face. At the register we picked up a ferret magazine and a sale sheet.
Then we hit Target for a new baby gate, since Pickle discovered that she can climb over the older one. We also grabbed me a pair of the fuzziest socks ever.
Our next stop was Walmart, where we picked up a bunch more yarn for me. I found a pattern for the next afghan, but I’m going to need to pick up one more skein of yarn to do it (we bought 5 last night, and I need 6). Eddie’s mom bought us a new crockpot to replace the one that Eddie broke last week and some assorted goodies for herself, since some stuff is sooooo much cheaper here than in Canada.
We attempted to go to Silver Dragon to get our cards read, but the woman was out sick. We’ll go back sometime this week or next weekend.
Today we’re going to my mother’s house for wings and football. I’m going to crochet and be antisocial, as Eddie says. I’ve got about 3.5 more panels on my afghan, and I plan on finishing them this week. I want to use my new yarn, damn it!
