Silly Pickle
I’ve come to the conclusion that Pickle is the most trouble-making ferret I’ve ever encountered. So far this morning she has:
- attempted to crawl into a skein of yarn
- managed to shimmy into the yarn last night, because it was essentially nothing more than a big tube of yarn.
- knocked over the last dregs of last night’s hot cocoa, getting it all over her feet, the end table and everything on it, and her toy basket
- while randomly hopping and trying to grab things off the coffee table, she pulled down a mostly-done scarf, the afghan-in-progress, and the balls of yarn attached to them.
Lately she’s been carrying a pen around the living room. It’s a plane pen that has a hard rubber grip on it. I took the cap off and removed the ink tube so she can’t get anything she’s not supposed to have, and she just carries it everywhere. Right now it’s in the cage next to the food dish, and she’s chowing. I wonder if she expect that the pen needs to eat just like she does, or if she carried it so I can’t take it from her.
I need to go shower. A hot shower will clear the crap out of my head. At least, I hope that it will. Then I get to dry my hair and take off to Coventry, so I can bring Nanny to the library. Eddie’s mom gets in at about 4pm, and then we have a nice family dinner. I’m not sure if Danielle’s coming over, Eddie said she may show up after work, which makes me wonder if maybe I should bring Pickle over tonight, since Danielle hasn’t seen her yet. I’ll probably hold off until the weekend, since then we won’t be leaving her alone in the house while we’re out and about and it’s going to be crazy enough tonight without adding the weasel to the mix.

Maybe Pickle just really likes the yarn. =)

Sk8: She’s exactly like a toddler. When she gets overtired, she starts to be a complete pain in the ass until we put her back in the cage, where she immediately falls asleep and I can ignore her for 3 or 4 hours.
Dub C: Oh, she loooooves the yarn. I’d have no problem letting her play with a plain ball, but she prefers the stuff that I’m using so that she can pull apart all the work I’ve just finished
