I love lazy Sundays like today. It was grey and wet when Eddie woke me up at 9am so I could go to Stop & Shop with him to buy breakfast, lunch, dinner food, and the tampons (or as they’re known in this house, “plugs”) that I desperately needed. Then I spent the morning crocheting some more rows on the afghan and playing with Pickle, who was going crazy in the living room. Eddie had picked up all her toys and put them in her basket so he could vaccuum, and once he was done and she was no longer able to chase the vaccuum around, she pulled a few out. She took her stuffed tiger out and dragged him into the cage, setting him up with a spot right next to her food dish while she ate.
We spent the day pretty much slacking off after we got back from the store. We watched a wide array of silly movies, Discovery Channel shows about dogs, and travel Channel shows about haunted places. Pickle’s cage got cleaned out, and I checked out a couple of sites to see if anyone had a playmate for her (nothing yet).
I had the strangest dreams last night. in one dream, we had a cat, and we also had a ghost cat. The ghost catshowed up in the house all the damned time and was cuddly to the point of being annoying sometimes. Every time we tried to take its picture, it messed up our digital cameras, usually replacing the photograph on the memory card with whatever was on the TV at the time. There was another dream about Comrade having a secret passage into our house through the basement, and he came through one day wearing a pimp suit and bitching about the feret. Very weird. As Eddie would say, I had sausage dreams.
Two more days off. Woot!
