Yes, I’m frazzled.
If I manage to get any sort of financial aid, it will be a fucking miracle.
First I spent 15 minutes looking for my w2 forms from last year. No sign of them; they were probably lost in the Great Cleansing of 2005. Thankfully, we did manage to find Eddie’s last week - behind the couch. Unfortunately I didn’t notice that the damned thing needs to be signed, so I need to drive back down to Warwick at lunchtime to get him to sign things before I go to the meeting.
Then I needed last year’s tax return, which we’d filed online. Of course, we each have 3 or 4 turbotax IDs, and couldn’t remember which one had been used to file taxes for 2004. After another 25 minutes we managed to figure out it was under my gmail address, so that’s all printed out and ready to go. But wait, that form needs to be signed as well, so it’s a good thing I’m already going down there.
I need 2 forms of ID. Of course, when I switched purses at the beginning of summer, I took only the bare neccessities out of my little pink wallet to put into the new purse, and now I can’t find that wallet. Sure, I can find my high school diploma, marriage certificate, and adoption paperwork, but not my wallet. This means that my birth certificate and Social Security card are lost somewhere in the house, and I need to go downtown to get yet another copy of my birth certificate for this meeting today.
Gah.
