shits and giggles
I got my hair cut today. It looks super cute; the stylist actually paid attention when I told her I wanted it short and spikey in the back rather than leaving it longer and fluffy and saying it would spike up (which it never did). I was polite and warned her prior to sitting in the chair that the tattoo was fresh and kinda icky. “Does that mean I can’t put the towel on it?”
“No, I just don’t want you to be freaked out if you pull the towel off me and it leaves slimey ointment on it though.”
Eddie got stopped in Stop & Shop today while buying food for Pickle. He got complimented on his nice new tattoo. You’d swear that the guys who poked us yesterday were suddenly 5 years old when we brought them the monkeys. If anyone’s ever in Electric Ink, check out the file cabinet behind the desk. See that monkey? I made him. And I made the one hanging out in Scott’s room too.
We started cleaning out the spare room today, and packing up some boxes of books that neither of us wants (like all the awful smut-disguised-as-a-mystery that I’ve bought at Walmart) or has read in a while (like my entire Dean Koontz collection, which was ratty, dogearred, and generally falling apart, and some Shadowrun books).
And since we’re not going out tonight, I think I’m going to be silly and redeign Electric Ink’s website for shits and giggles.
