A Little About Me...

I'm just a 31 year old chick from Rhode Island, married to a Canadian, tattooed, childfree, and a World of Warcraft addict. I fancy myself a photographer, or an artist, but who am I kidding - I count pills and sell drugs to junkies.

Disclaimer

I write about everything. If you don't like it, if it's too personal, if you don't want to hear it, if it offends you, if it's about you, I don't care.

I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle, but if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

I’m bored as hell.

My plans to leave work early yesterday were foiled by one of my least favorite customers coming in at about 6:30pm. The mother speaks no English (or at least none when it’s convenient), so everything is conducted through translations between her 11year old daughter. Since September or so, she has come in to do everything from switching her phone from a Puerto Rico number to Rhode Island, complain about her minutes, complain about the phone, and last night she came in because she’d lost her phone and called customer service to get it suspended and they never suspended it and she wants it done immediately. I happily suspend the line, she’s happy about it, and then proceeds to drop damn near $200 on a new phone and have me turn the line back on. Why suspend it for a grand total of 5 minutes? Who knows. Maybe it’s just one of those bizarre mysteries of the world, like Stonehenge, the pyramids, and where my socks disappear to when I put them in the dryer.

We spent a rather boring night at home last night. I ended up at the computer adding things to Eddie’s page that I’d been putting off for a couple of weeks. He’s happy now, but wants a new layout involving “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” now, so I’m going to need to whip out my Google-foo and hunt down some good photos of Sam Rockwell as Zaphod.

Tonight is Survivor/CSI/ER night. As much as I love ER, I think the show’s downfall will be Noah Wiley leaving the cast this season. He’s the last of the originals, unless you want to count the orderlies and nurses who have been there forever, and Sherry Stringfield who was an original but left and came back. The newer members of the cast are good and interesting, I just hope they cane come up with some original storylines. I can’t be the only person who noticed that nurse Sam’s son Alex looks almost exactly like the young boy that George Clooney’s character befriended, right down to the shaggy mop of hair and ever-present backpack.
