Friday stuff
First we have the friday five….
1. What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to do, but never have? Ride on a train. I don’t mean like a commuter train or public transit, I mean cross country.
2. When someone asks your opinion about a new haircut/outfit/etc, are you always honest? Sometimes. It depends on who the person is.
3. Have you ever found out something about a friend and then wished you hadn’t? What happened? Funny story. I ran a MUD for a few years, and we had this command, “snoop”, that would allow a high-level character to see everything that another player was typing and seeing. This command was made for debugging, but of course, it got abused a lot by people. I was particularly fond of snooping folks all the time, and once ended up catching my best friend having some very raunchy MUD-sex with his boyfriend.
4. If you could live in any fictional world (from a book/movie/game/etc.) which would it be and why? Like Eddie said, Middle Earth. Or the setting of NeverWinter Nights. Yes, this makes me a geek.
5. What’s one talent/skill you don’t have but always wanted? I wish that I could dance, and sometimes I wish that I had Bob Ross oil painting skills. Happy little trees.
And the weekly wrap-up….
1. Do you like to have your picture taken? Why or why not? Eh, sometimes. I don’t mind the webcam, but I’m not big on posing for stuff, unless someone is posing me, since I’m not all that creative with the poses.
2. What is your earliest memory of having your picture taken? Eddie’s going to laugh that I remember this far back, but I can remember getting my picture taken at the Sand Point Beach when I was about 3 or 4, and was buried up to my waist in the sand. That was the same weekend that I burnt my shoulders so badly that they blistered, and Mom thought she was a bad mother.
3. What is the best picture you’ve ever had taken (or took of yourself)? Why did you pick this photo? The wedding pictures rocked.
4. Ladies, under what circumstances would you pose for a “glamour shot”? Gentlemen, would you want your girlfriend/wife to pose for a “glamour shot”? Both: why? Why not? Do my hair and make-up and gimme a hat or feather boa, I don’t care, as long as I don’t look like a drag-queen.
5. Would you ever pose for nude photos? Why or why not? Would I? Yeah. Been there, done that. I think that anyone who owns a digital camera has, um, experimented with it.
