I did more job hunting this afternoon. It seems as though the only places hiring are offices looking for receptionists, nurses and medical assistants, or administrative assistants. Bleh. I sent out 6 resumes this afternoon by fax and more by email - some to the same places that I’d already faxed to.

I really need to find a job. We’ve got about $700 worth of bills that need to be paid, plus next month’s car payment. I haven’t gotten anything from site designs yet or any new members to the members area, which while they won’t cover everything, will certainly help out, and at least keep our power on.

Yes, that’s how bad the bills are right now.

*sigh*

It seriously sucks donkey ass. Eddie pulls in about $1k/month with his shift differential when he works a full week, but isn’t always guaranteed his 40 hour weeks; if the truck is small, they go home usually. Even if I were to get a job at someplace like Walmart or whatever, I wouldn’t be making much, probably $1-2/hour less than Eddie, so we’d still be making just barely more than what I was pulling in when I was working at the bank.

Maybe I’ll just apply to be a phone sex operator. That could be interesting, and I could work from home. I’d need to get the phone turned back on first though, otherwise I’d be going crazy with buying cell minutes (or I could just get a normal cell phone like every other American has).
